Are You Pregnant?  (Added on 08/04/2010)
Channel 4 has been in touch for 1230 TWC help.

They are currently making a new documentary about motherhood for Channel 4’s prestigious Cutting Edge strand. The documentary will follow two women; a young teenage mum and a woman 37 years plus, through the latter stages of pregnancy and on to life with their new baby. The programme seeks to explore this life changing experience that unites both women at different stages in their lives. Each will undoubtedly meet their own challenges and triumphs throughout the journey. Ultimately, we are hoping to make an empowering and insightful programme.

At the moment they are particularly keen to speak to expectant mothers who have been pregnant for at least 30 weeks plus at either ends of the age spectrum (teens – 37 years plus). I thought your members may know someone who is pregnant or could be pregnant themselves. At this early stage it would just be an informal chat and talking to me would in no way commit them to any further involvement in the documentary. Obviously, if a suitable pregnant woman did wish to explore it further we’d be delighted to tell her more and consider her for the final programme.
