1230 Members meet and share business opportunities and leads, work together in partnership, share relevant local and business information.

1230 Member Profiles on the 1230 TWC website can be updated by 1230 Members. They can post information on their business – their products and services. They can upload logos and images relating to their business.

1230 Members have exclusive, secure access to a number of features so that they can continue to network and market their business online 24/7.

Members log into the site to blog, make Member2Member offers, post business events and events of interest to other women, email other Members direct from the site. Free training for 1230 members is provided weekly to enable best use of the web site.

Each 1230 TWC business meeting is on the same day and week of each month, eg 1st Thursday, 2nd Wednesday, 4th Tuesday.

Members may attend as many 1230 TWC business meetings as they wish each month, without restriction to any group, trade or profession.

1230 TWC Members pay £10 less than Non-Members for their meetings costs.

Monthly 1230 meeting costs for 1230 Members vary slightly (between £10 and £13.50) and include a light lunch. The food varies depending on venue – some meetings are seated and others are buffet style. The amount paid is for the opportunity of a 1230 Business Meeting. Food is complimentary.

1230 The Women’s Company organises a number of conferences and events each year which consist of inspirational speakers and workshops. All conferences and events are open to 1230 Members at a reduced rate, with the exception of charity events.

So, What Happens at Your Meetings?
Networking is an essential part of business life, but it does take effort and should be part of your marketing plan

1230 meetings are extremely enjoyable opportunities to socialise with other like-minded business people!

On entering the venue you’ll be greeted by the 1230 TWC Manager or her assistant and directed to the registration point where you’ll be handed a name label, and flyer providing the names of those attending, including your own if you were able to pre-book.

You’ll then be able to order your complimentary drink (some venues) and be introduced to someone of your choice and/or an existing member of 1230 TWC.

The meetings are always a lively mix of women with a diverse mix of businesses. Everyone has the opportunity to present a 1 minute talk, and we like to encourage you to think about what you offer, rather than what you do. For example, instead of saying "I am an IT training consultant" say "I can save you time in using your computer”.

Bring plenty of business cards or flyers. The main focus of the meetings is to develop businesses and everyone is there for the same purpose. It is also about seeing how we can help each other, remember - givers gain.

Sometimes the meetings have additional interest with guest speakers.

Try to always book into the meeting in advance in order that the 1230 Manager can advise the venue on numbers.
