So, What Happens at Our Meetings?

Networking is an essential part of business life, but it does take effort and be part of your marketing plan

1230 meetings are extremely enjoyable opportunities to socialise with other like-minded business people!

On entering the venue you’ll be greeted by the 1230 TWC Franchisee/Manager or her assistant and directed to the registration point where you’ll be handed a name label, and flyer providing the names of those attending, including your own if you were able to pre-book.

You’ll then be able be introduced to someone of your choice and/or an existing member of 1230 TWC.

The meetings are always a lively mix of women with a diverse mix of businesses. Everyone has the opportunity to present a 1 minute talk, and we like to encourage you to think about what you offer, rather than what you do. For example, instead of saying "I am an IT training consultant" say "I can save you time in using your computer”.

Bring plenty of business cards or flyers. The main focus of the meetings is to develop businesses and everyone is there for the same purpose. It is also about seeing how we can help each other, remember - givers gain.

Sometimes the meetings have additional interest with guest speakers.

Try to always book into the meeting in advance in order that the 1230 Manager can advise the venue on numbers.
